Open a Private Request
Use the Legal & Safety Center for privacy rights, account recovery, copyright notices, illegal-content notices, and other legal concerns. The request form is available without accepting updated Terms. Account holders can review their own requests and replies. If you cannot sign in, provide a reliable contact email so Republic can respond. Public account titles, affiliations, or appointments do not authorize anyone to receive legal demands on behalf of Republic's operators.
Include the Information Needed to Act
Identify your concern, the action you are requesting, the affected account, and relevant Republic URLs. For illegal-content notices, identify the material precisely and explain why you believe it is unlawful in the relevant jurisdiction. Copyright notices and counter-notices need their required statements, signatures, and contact information. For account recovery, provide verifiable ownership evidence rather than relying only on a public handle.
Do not send passwords, Discord tokens, payment details, identity-document scans, or another person's unnecessary sensitive records. Describe a privacy concern without copying the disclosed information into a public post. Use the report menu for harmful posts and profiles so the concern stays linked to the original item.
Replies, Verification, and Request Outcomes
Republic may verify your identity or authority before releasing information or changing an account and may ask you to clarify the request. The response should explain the action taken or relevant reason the request cannot be fulfilled, subject to law and safety restrictions. Applicable statutory deadlines and complaint or appeal rights remain available. On-platform replies are the primary record; Discord can provide a brief additional alert where permitted. Contact details supplied without an account are used to handle the request, not create a public profile.
Legal Disclosures and Immediate Danger
Applicable law can require an operator identity, service address, designated agent, regulator contact, or local representative. Those disclosures must identify the actual responsible party. The request form is a contact channel, not a substitute for other disclosures required by law. Request the information applicable to your legal concern through this channel.
Republic is not an emergency service. Contact the appropriate emergency authority for immediate danger. Report relevant Republic material without redistributing private information or illegal content. An ordinary legal request does not replace an emergency response.
