PostSync brings selected Republic accounts' public updates into your Discord channels. You choose the accounts, the kinds of content to include, and your Discord webhook destinations. Republic handles ongoing posting and delivery.
Set it up without coding
Open the Developer Console at https://dev.republicrx.app/developer and sign in with a Republic account you own. PostSync does not require code, an API key, or a worker running on your own server.
Create an incoming webhook in your Discord channel's settings under Integrations, then copy its URL. In the Republic console, add that webhook with a name you recognize. Keep the URL private because it authorizes posting to the channel.
Select the destination, enter a Republic account handle, choose its content types, and select Follow account. Repeat for the other accounts you want to receive. To connect more channels, add their webhook URLs and configure each destination's accounts and filters separately. These subscriptions are independent of your personal Following feed.
Choose which updates reach each channel
PostSync supports ordinary public posts, including text, photos, videos, and polls. Replies, quotes, reposts, and published articles are separate content-type choices. You can receive one account's articles and another account's ordinary posts in the same destination.
These settings choose kinds of content, not individual message fields. Republic manages the Discord message format, including available content, attribution, and links back to Republic. Discord's embed and media limits can shorten previews; the original link opens the complete post.
Republic handles delivery
After setup, Republic sends matching future public content in the background. You can check Recent deliveries, change filters, pause a destination, or remove it from the console. PostSync does not copy an account's earlier posts or guarantee immediate delivery. Discord rate limits and retries can delay messages, and uncertain responses can produce duplicates.
Republic checks public visibility before sending and attempts to update or remove mirrored messages when source content changes or becomes unavailable. Those actions depend on valid registered credentials. Removing a registration leaves existing Discord messages in place and ends Republic's ability to update or clean them up.
Developers who want to manage integrations from their own software can use the optional HTTP API. Normal PostSync setup and Republic-managed delivery work without it.
