Start a Search
Open Explore or use the search field in the right-hand column. Enter an account's name, handle, or the words you want to find. Suggestions appear as you type. Choose the intended account from the suggestions when you already know who you want, or submit the search to explore matching results. Exact handles are useful when several accounts use similar names.
Find the Right Result
Use the result views to distinguish people from posts and media. Open a profile to see its description, verification, affiliations, and posting history before following. For a post, open the original to see its full text, attachments, replies, and any Factcheck. Search for the words used in the discussion rather than assuming the account's display name will appear in every post about it.
Manage Recent Searches
Focus an empty search field to see recent searches and previously selected accounts. Select an entry to return to it. Use the remove control beside an entry to delete that item, or select Clear all to remove the list. Removing a recent search changes your search-history list; it does not delete the account, erase its posts, or unfollow it.
Use Discovery to Build Your Follow List
New Users in the right-hand column shows three recently registered accounts and how long ago they joined. Select Show more to open a list of up to ten. Open an account to see whether its posts interest you, then follow it. Trending topics identify discussion growing across multiple accounts in the recent six-hour window. When no topic qualifies, search directly for the subject instead. Muted and blocked accounts are excluded from the relevant discovery results.
