Create Another Account While Signed In

One personal Discord connection can own up to five Republic accounts. You do not need to sign out of your current account to create another. Each account has its own handle, profile, posts, follows, preferences, and account standing. Confirm which account is active before publishing or changing settings.

  1. Open the account menu and select Accounts.
  2. Select Create an account when you have an available account slot.
  3. Complete the Discord and account-creation steps.
  4. Choose the new account from the account list when you are ready to use it.

Switch to the Intended Account

Open Accounts and select the account you want. The selected profile becomes the identity for your posts and interactions. Check its display name and handle before submitting a post, following someone, or making a request. The same Discord connection does not merge account histories or move posts between accounts. A restriction on one account cannot be bypassed by switching to another.

Use Delegated Access Instead of Sharing Credentials

Delegates lets an owner give another person permitted access to an account without sharing a Discord password. Open Settings, Delegates to manage the account's delegation controls. An invitation appears in the recipient's Accounts page, where it can be accepted or declined. Delegated access is limited by the granted role; it is not the same as owning the account or having unrestricted access to its settings.

Protect Saved Sessions

A saved session can let someone using your device access an account without repeating the full sign-in process. Do not leave saved accounts on shared devices. Review saved-account controls in Security settings and sign out when finished. If the connected Discord account is compromised, secure it and use Republic's recovery route for an affected account. Never send passwords or authorization tokens as ownership evidence.
